Returns policy

General
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with lifesaverbottledirect.com. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

All references to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' or ‘lifesaverbottledirect.com’ will refer to Mycelium Ltd trading as lifesaverbottledirect.com. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Web Site shall include reference to all URL's owned by lifesaverbottledirect.com.

Prices
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are exclusive of UK VAT.  VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone, post or fax. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

Delivery
Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services can by obtained from our Customer Service Department. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice. Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, (Post Orders with a cheque), an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Warranty
The Lifesaver bottle comes with a 2 year international warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship.  Should your Lifesaver bottle prove defective within 2 years from the date of purchase you should return it to the retailer that you originally purchased it from. lifesaverbottledirect.com will at its sole discretion repair or replace the damaged item(s). The warranty excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.  This does not affect your statutory legal rights.

If you purchased the product directly from lifesaverbottledirect.com, lifesaverbottledirect.com internet or mail order you will need to contact our customer services department for a Returns Authorisation Number. The item may then be returned with a copy of the original receipt to our customer services department.

Please include a note indicating clearly the area or part that has failed and ensure that the items are clean and in a dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting our Customer Service Department during office hours.

Distance Selling Regulations
You have a right to cancel your order within seven working days following the day after the date of delivery for any unused item purchased through the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to Lifesaver bottles or Lifesaver bottle parts or items personalised or made to your specification.  This is for safety and security reasons.

Should you wish to cancel any item, you can e-mail, fax or write to us quoting your customer number and order number. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods.

Providing the goods are received back in an unused condition and in their original packaging with all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.

Force Majeure
We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as an act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.

Pricing and Print Errors
Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of lifesaverbottledirect.com until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

Complaints
Any complaint or compliment can be sent to our Customer Service Department. We will endeavour to deal with your complaint within five working days of receipt. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise you of a likely timescale and keep you informed of any investigation.

Faulty Goods
If you find a fault with a new product please return it to the retailer that you originally purchased it from within 28 days and include a note explaining what is wrong. you will need to contact our customer services department for a Returns Authorisation Number.  The item may then be returned with a copy of the original receipt to our customer services department. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost, including any delivery charges incurred, where appropriate. 

When returning faulty goods be aware that any refunds or exchanges may take up to 10 working days.

We recommend that all items be returned either by SPECIAL or RECORDED delivery with adequate insurance and make a note of the tracking number. Also put sender details on the reverse of returned goods.

Refunds of postage will only be paid for the return of faulty goods if we have been advised of the problem within 28 days of purchase.

Return of Goods
Please note that any exchange or refund for any new and unused LIFESAVER bottles once they have left our premises is at the discretion of the management. This is for safety reasons. Please bear this in mind before you make your purchase.

Delivery Policy
Our aim is to deliver your purchases to you within 28 working days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).

If for any reason we can't do this we'll get in touch to let you know what is happening and why. If there is a problem with the availability of your chosen goods our customer services staff will let you know the likely delivery date. Please allow additional time (details on request) for the delivery of special order items.

If you are out when our couriers call they will leave a card and you can phone to arrange a convenient time for redelivery.

Delivery FAQs
Who will be delivering my parcel?

We use Initial ANC to deliver goods which are £40 or more in value. For orders up to £40 we will use Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery.

I need my parcel redirecting but am unable to do this via the courier.

We would advise that you contact the Mail Order Department on 0845 009 1666, please have your consignment number to hand and the alternative delivery address.

What happens to my parcel if I'm out while it's delivered?

If you are out when our couriers call they will leave a card and you can phone to arrange a convenient time for redelivery.

In most instances the parcel will not be left without a signature. Please provide us with a delivery address where the parcel can be signed for between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm. we are happy to arrange delivery to your place of work if this is convenient.
